For more than 20 years, Munnik Brandadvies has helped building owners, developers and organisations meet Dutch fire safety requirements. We work for international organisations operating in the Netherlands that need clear answers in English and practical solutions that work in their buildings.
Who we are
Munnik Brandadvies B.V. is an independent fire safety consultancy based in Kolham, near Groningen, and we work throughout the Netherlands. Our team of around 20 people includes fire safety consultants, engineers, inspectors and trainers. We are SKG-IKOB certified. In projects under the Dutch Quality Assurance Act (Wkb), we work with the KiK-tool and BK-tool.
Our mission
Fire safety rules in the Netherlands are detailed, and they are written in Dutch. Our job is to translate them into clear decisions. We explain what the Building Decree (Bbl) and the Environment and Planning Act (Omgevingswet) require for your building. We separate legal obligations from good practice and look for the solution that is safe, compliant and cost-effective.
